Shabnam Ferdausi

Ferdousi graduated from the University of Dhaka. She started her career as a model.In 1996, she joined Zahir Raihan’s Film Society. In 1999, she became part of a short film forum and later in 2000 she participated in the first documentary film course in Bangladesh.

In 2009, Ferdousi was elected president of Bangladesh Documentary Council for a two-year term.
